Roy McTaggart

Fulfilling section 117 of the Constitution’s mandate for an accountant, Roy McTaggart joined the CSPL with over 20 years expertise in this field. He holds experience with captive insurance companies, offshore banks and hedge funds, having concentrated his practice on providing assurance services to the hedge fund and offshore banking industries.

Mr. McTaggart is also widely versed in risk management and quality control serving as KPMG’s CI and BVI Risk Management Partner and CI Quality Performance Liason Partner in addition to being a Managing Partner with the firm. Having acted on the Board of Directors for Cayman Airways from June 2001 and as Chairman from December 2001 through May 2005, Mr. McTaggart is currently also a member of the Private Sector Consultative Committee, an advisory group to the C.I. Government.

Roy was appointed as a Member on 15 January 2010 and served for a period of just over three years.
